Martin George Schnibben (1900-1972) was the son of Martin and Matilda Wrede Schnibben. Martin worked for the Railway Express Company for 45 years. He was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, a Mason, and a member of the Brotherhood of Railway Clerks. He was also a charter member of Tidewater Camellia Club. Schnibben is buried in Oakdale Cemetery.
