Thomas James Green, Jr. (1942- ) was the Director of Administration and Finance for the North Carolina State Ports Authority in the early 1990s. He was the Deputy Executive Director in 2001. Wilmington in the busiest port in the state of North Carolina. The Port is operated by the North Carolina State Ports Authority, which was created by the state of North Carolina in 1945. The State Ports Authority operates the seaports at Wilmington and Morehead City, the Southport Marina, and two inland container facilities at Charlotte and Greensboro.
