Portrait of William Roy Yopp.
William Roy Yopp (1886-1937) was born in Florence, South Carolina. He came to Wilmington in 1908 and first started work as a motorman on the street car lines. In 1911, Yopp helped to found the Regwill Printing Company. He later purchased the Wilmington Stamp Works and reorganized the company, acting as president. Yopp established a service printing company in 1924 that would eventually become the Wilmington Stamp and Printing Company. In addition to his business, Yopp was involved in many Wilmington activities and was one of the gurantors of the Wilmington Baseball Association. He is buried in Bellevue cemetery.
