Description	The name for U.S.S. Mount Katmai was suggested by Mrs. A.E. DeMaray, sponsor, whose husband had cognizance of the Katmai National Park. Mount Katmai is a volcano located in Alaska. Pictured from left to right are A.E. Demaray; Lula Disosway; Mrs. Demaray, sponsor and W.S. McMahon. The launching of U.S.S. Mount Katmai took place Jan. 6, 1945.
