Title	Dr. W. Houston Moore
Description	Dr. William Houston Moore (1880-1948), was born in Duplin County, North Carolina. He married Miss Ida Galla(g?)her of Danville, PA in 1911. He attended the University of North Carolina and received his M.D. from Jefferson College (1910). He was a General Practicioner from 1911-1942, and a Dermatologist from 1942-1948. He was President of the New Hanover County Medical Society in 1923, the first Chairman of the Wilmington Housing Authority, and was the originator of the North Carolina Azalea Festival. He died in Wilmington, North Carolina, July 23rd, 1948.
