Title	Dr. George Johnson and Dr. William Dosher
Description	Dr. George W. Johnson (1897-1966), son of Charles A. and Ida Pure Johnson, was born April 18th, 1897, in Wallace, North Carolina. He married Miss Evelyn Hill and they had a son, George Johnson, Jr., who was Professor & Chief, Division of General Surgery, Department of Surgery at UNC-Chapel Hill. He attended UNC-Chapel Hill (1918) and The University of Pennsylvania, where he earned his M.D. (1920). He practiced medicine from 1921-1966. He died October 12th, 1966, in Wilmington, North Carolina. Dr. William Dosher (1902-), son of William E. and Nellie Galloway Dosher, was born October 29th, 1902, in Southport, North Carolina. He married Miss Annie Pleasants and attended Trinity (Duke), and the Medical College of Virginia, where he earned his M.D. (1930). He was in private practice as a General Practioner for 4 years and an OG for 20 years. He practiced medicine from 1939-1959. Notable achievements-President of the 3rd District Medical Society for 2 terms; President of the NCOG Society; active in civic matters; established a scholarship fund for boys at the Citadel in Charleston, S.C.
