Title	Dr. John B. Codington
Description	Dr. John Bonnell Coddington (1925), son of Herbert H. Sr., M.D. and Jessie Peck Coddington, was born October 27th, 1927 in WIlmington, North Carolina. He married Elizabeth CArter and they had a son, Herbert A. Codington, Jr., (M.D.), who was a medical missionary. He attended Davidson College (1949); and The University of Maryland (1953). He was in private practice and served in 1958. Notable achievements: New Hanover County Board of Education, 1967-77, (Chairman 1971-77); Board of Trustees, UNC-W, 1973-77; church leader.
