Description	Mr. George Bellamy, also known as the "Duke" of Brunswick County, with Dr. Walter Curtis Galloway. Dr. Galloway (1851-1938), was born in Brunswick County, North Carolina.He earned his M.D. from Washington University in Baltimore (with honors) in 1874. He first practiced in Snow Hill, N.C. where he was editor of the local paper. He was elected state senator from Green County, lived in Gaithersburg, M.D.., and was President of the New Hanover County Medical Society in 1919. He was VP of the North Carolina Medical Society in 1893 and was the first OT specialist in the area. He practiced from 1896-1922 in Wilmington and specialized in diseases of the head. He died February 18, 1938.
